Traditionally during Lent, Christians would give up rich, tasty foods. Carnival, Mardi Gras, or Shrove Tuesday was the last chance to eat them – and what better way to do so than with a delicious pancake (some cultures even call it Pancake Day). We will also have a chance to burn last year's Palm Sunday branches for this year's Ash Wednesday ashes. Sunday February 15, after worship.
